At the first moment you come to this restaurant the stuff gives you a pleasant feeling. Very hospitable hosts, it is a good place to enjoy with friends or with your date. tasty food, creative chef, reasonable price and attentive service. Highly recommended.

I went here for the Dolsat Bibimbap, as I was in the mood for Korean food, my father had Shrimp Tempura (Japanese), and my mother had Chicken Teriyaki (also Japanese). We were all very happy.

The best happy hour in Delray. I love the sushi and the Aloha Roll is my absolute favorite.

Yama’s nigiri and sushi will always taste the best. You won’t find any other place like this around Delray/Boca/Boynton. I can eat at Yama everyday :)

Excellent food and service. Very fresh, tasty and quick. A bit on the pricey side, but it’s Delray so you kinda have to expect that.

Visited from out of town. Been to many Korean restaurants in different cities and Yama is just ok. Nothing special. Prices are too high and to have to pay for side dishes such as kimchee is disappointing. Service was from the staff was good.

Wonderful service great fresh sushi

Yama is One of the top Japanese and sushi restaurants in Delray Beach. My wife and I ordered a bunch of take out the other night and it was so good we stopped in for dinner the very next night. The food is fresh and everything taste delicious.

The food was great and the place was cute. However, it took over an hour for us to get our 2 sushi rolls and 30min to get our appetizer. Might consider going back and seeing if the bad service and tardiness was a fluke or the norm.

If you’re in Delray try this place you’re won’t be disappointed Japanese food fusion style with a little bit of Korean flair. I wish I took more pictures but you won’t be disappointed places quaint parking is a little difficult right now because they’re doing some construction but please get very busy because it’s good so get there

Bar-none, Yama is the best Sushi and Japanese restaurant in Delray. From Bibimbap to locally sourced sushi specials, Yama has you covered. Want dessert? Then you need to complete your meal with an Aloha roll.....one taste and you'll say adios to your old japanese restaurant and Aloha to Yama.

Very good sushi. We were a party of 8. While service was slow, I felt it was worth the wait. Fresh....very fresh sushi. Two in our party opted for the Thai food and were very pleased. I would go back.

I was very happy with the Bibimbap. I only missed the side plates. I know you're not a "Korean restaurant", so I understand. I just felt disappointed that evening. I'll be back for sure.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food is truly authentic, it's delicious, and the staff is wonderful.

Sushi was great. Servers very attentive even on a busy night at the sushi bar.

Dragon roll is great and the teriyaki chicken lunch box is awesome. It’s served with cucumber salad and awesome miso soap. All for. Like 11 dollars for the lunch box .

What an incredible happy hour! This might be the best sushi food happy hour in Delray Beach. The sushi was very fresh and the drinks were fun, too. The Yakitori was also a highlight.I really enjoyed the salmon avocado roll. Unlike other places, they don’t decrease the size of the order on these happy hour specials. The music is also light and fun. This place has music and sound that is just buzzy enough that you feel you have privacy, but is not so loud that you can’t hear your company. This is also right on Pineapple Grove and across the street from the Mystery Bookstore. Yama Japanese Restaurant is a good night out!

Best and freshest sushi around!

we got the sushi boat for two and everything was incredible! the conch roll was amazingly gingery and all of the sashimi was super tasty. service was great - our server was super helpful and quick. great date spot.
